As you already know, Air France is also stylized as AIRFRANCE. It is the French flag carrier that is situated in Tremblay-en-France. It is a subsidiary of the Air France–KLM Group and a founding member of the SkyTeam global airline alliance.
On Thursday, Air France will cancel flights due to a strike by air traffic controllers. The flights which are departing and arriving from French airports will face this problem. This may be continued with the further cancellation on Friday, as a result of strike action from its own employees.
The airline which is a part of Air France-KLM (AF.FR), said:
- It expects to operate 100% of its long-haul flights
- 75% of its medium-haul flights to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport
- 60% of its short-haul flights at Paris-Orly and provincial airports.
The airline also added that last minute delays and cancellations can’t be ruled out. And it still doesn’t know how the strike called by ten unions will affect its flight schedule for Friday.
