This award is totally based on a customer satisfaction survey organized by Skytrax. And it comprises 325 airlines and millions of participants for the survey.
Northern Europe is not the only part where you can see the influence of this superb airline, Finnair. But, the airline also performs comparatively well on global basis too. Being selected as one of the safest airlines in the world and also as the most punctual on global confront, the carrier itself describe its outstanding performance.
Talking about the last year performance of Finnair, AirHelp has concluded the airline as one of the ten best airlines in the world. This thing was based upon quality performance, claim processing, and delay time. On the other hand, the airlines like Norwegian Air Shuttle and Icelandair were ranked among the 10 worst airlines in the world as per the same listing.
There are a number of reasons behind the marvelous performance of the airline. The usage of digital services is one of them. Earlier this year only, Finnair also participated in a trial of face-recognition check-in technology at Helsinki airport in collaboration with airport operator Finavia.
Currently, Finnair has become the very first airline to accept the Chinese digital payment service Alipay onboard its planes.
In addition to that, from now all long-distance flights by Finnair will also offer its Nordic Sky Wi-Fi service. Being an innovator, the airline is trying to strategize its survival in the ever more competitive space.
