KLM Has Added 7 More Long-Haul Connections To Its Worldwide Schedule!

One of Cardiff Airport’s longest serving airlines KLM has added 7 more long-haul routes to its worldwide schedule for the coming winter season. This is making travel to far-flung destinations all the more accessible for Cardiff Airport’s customers.

From this winter, KLM will operate the flights from Amsterdam Schiphol to these 7 new destinations:

  • Cartagena (Colombia)
  • Freetown (Sierra Leone)
  • Mauritius (Republic of Mauritius)
  • Minneapolis (United States)
  • Monrovia (Liberia)
  • Mumbai (India)
  • San José (Costa Rica)

Available Facilities:

  • These new routes are accessible with up to 3 direct flights per day from Cardiff to Amsterdam Schiphol all year round.
  • Additionally, the KLM also plan to start a new route network connection to Orlando, Florida as the result of a codeshare partnership with KLM and Delta.
  • The flights will operate from 2018.

Once in a lifetime trip, customers are planning to visit Walt Disney World or the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. So, now they will be able to book flights through KLM and Delta, departing on our daily services at either 0605 or 1000 and arriving into Orlando at 1740.

The current 1 stop connections available with KLM, Air France, and Delta via Amsterdam or Paris are:

The CEO of Cardiff Airport Deb Barber said, “KLM plays a vital role in promoting connectivity to and from Wales. The message we’re keen to share with our valued customers is just how simple and straightforward it is to reach long-haul destinations from Cardiff.

He also added, “Amsterdam Schiphol is a vibrant hub that’s well equipped and easy for passengers embarking on far-flung trips for business or leisure purposes. KLM’s partnership with Delta and Air France, plus the wealth of other connections, has added even more choice and will be of huge benefit to our customers who choose to fly from Wales to the World.”
