According to the statement, Turkish Airlines, and TAV, the two global brands of Turkey in the aviation sector, were presented with the award for their lounge project. The lounge was opened last year at Dulles Airport.
The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) awarded the TAV Operation Services with the “Excellence Award” 2017. The lounge operated by TAV Operation Services in Washington Dulles Airports.
The lounge allows passengers of Turkish Airlines, Star Alliance member airlines, Priority Pass, Lounge Buddy and TAV Passport Card holders.
Lounge Facilities Included:
- A seating capacity of 120 guests.
- Wi-Fi
- Snacks
- Kids play area
- Prayer and resting area.
The statement added that the size of the lounge is 550-square-meter, which stands out with its modern design and provide their facilities to the 180,000 passengers every year.
The chief commercial officer for Turkish Airlines Mehmet Akif Konar said in a statement, “this proves that the Turkish hospitality transcends borders. Turkish Airlines offers the perfect travel experience not only during the flight but also in pre and post-flight periods for its passengers. Being awarded for these efforts motivates us to achieve better.”
The General Manager of TAV Operation Services Bora Isbulan said, “We closely follow the changing requirements and expectations of our guests and create solutions accordingly.”
TAV provides their services to approximately 4.5 million customers in 15 countries at 25 airports at its 57 lounges annually.
