The airline disclosed its brand-new World Traveler Plus and World Traveler seats. The customers will be able to experience the airline’s fully refreshed Boeing 777 fleet flying from Gatwick and premium economy and economy seats of the new generation.
The new seats fitted in the new cabins with 50% larger entertainment screens will be rolled out in BA’s fleet of 10 long-haul aircraft based at Gatwick.
The six Boeing 777 aircraft will be completed by the winter of 2018 and by the summer of 2019 the four four-class variations will be finished.
Flyers will be able to enjoy a cocktail table in the front and in-arm tray tables, in response to the customers demand.
The most enhanced seating which features a six-way headrest with adjustable ears for added comfort with movable middle rests has been fitted in these cabins.
It will offer a new in-flight Panasonic entertainment system which has the capacity to offer four times as many TV, films, and audio. It has been updated with gesture control to navigate the interface like using a tablet and larger HD screens.
In world traveler plus, the screen size will double from six to 12 inches and in world Traveler, it will increase from six to 10 inches.
